At a glance.
LoopiCart currently has no account registration, payment or subscription processing, or advertising. Receipt scans, receipt contents, shopping lists, budgets, and smart-feature inputs are processed on your device using Apple’s Local Model. We use EU-region Sentry for crash reporting and EU Cloud PostHog for limited product analytics.

2. Information we process

Diagnostic and analytics data can include device model, operating-system and app version, language/locale, timestamps, feature or screen interactions, and technical error context. We do not intentionally send receipt images, receipt text, shopping-list contents, budgets, or other user-entered app content to Sentry or PostHog.

3. On-device scanning and smart features

Receipt scanning and LoopiCart’s smart features use Apple’s Local Model on your device. Content you choose to scan or use is processed locally to provide the requested result. LoopiCart does not send that content to our own servers or an external AI provider for scanning or smart-feature processing.

4. Service providers

Sentry

We use Sentry for crash reporting, error monitoring, and performance diagnostics. We configure it to use its EU region.

PostHog

We use PostHog for limited product analytics and configure it to use EU Cloud. We seek to minimise the information captured and do not intentionally capture receipt or shopping-list content.

5. Legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on performance of a contract to provide requested app functions; legitimate interests for limited diagnostics, security, reliability, and proportionate analytics; and consent where a particular feature or applicable law requires it. If consent becomes necessary for analytics, we will provide an appropriate choice before that processing starts.

6. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, and receive a portable copy of your personal data. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

Because LoopiCart has no account and core content stays on your device, you can generally remove local content through the app or by deleting the app, subject to your device backup settings.

7. Retention and security

Core app data remains on your device until you delete it, remove it through an available app control, or delete the app. We retain diagnostics and analytics data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the described purposes, then delete or anonymise it according to our configured retention settings and applicable law.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Keep your device and operating system up to date and use appropriate device security.

8. Children

LoopiCart is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy if LoopiCart or applicable requirements change. We will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the app or on this page. Update this policy before introducing accounts, cloud sync, payments, advertising, or new external AI processing.
